Membership Information

Thank you for considering joining the Texins Outdoor Club! We are a non-profit based organization, funded by the Texins Association of Texas Instruments. Although the Texins Outdoor Club was originally created for the enjoyment of Texas Instruments employees, our club is now allowed to recruit from the general public. So, if you like to explore, climb, hike, paddle, peddle, or just get outdoors, the Texins Outdoor Club is the place to be!!!

The Outdoor Club encompasses many different outdoor adventure sports, which include backpacking, camping, canoeing, climbing, hiking, kayaking, mountaineering as well as road and mountain biking. We hold periodic meetings to share ideas, experiences, and learn about current topics.

The Texins Outdoor Club was officially formed on September 19th, 1996. The club charter reflects our club government structure, our goals as a club, and the proper etiquette that we expect all Outdoor Club members to follow when in the wilderness. The wilderness areas of the world are slowly shrinking and if the ones we have are not properly maintained, we shall have no wilderness areas left. Please try to always abide by the Leave No Trace guidelines when in any wilderness areas.

All Memberships are based on January 1st - December 31st enrollment period each year.
Our memberships dues are $30 for an individual and $40 for a family  annually.
If you would like to join the Texins Outdoor Club, please fill out the online membership forms available here on our site.  If you would like a hard copy of the membership forms you can print one of these.

If you have problems printing this form contact the club president at toc@outdoorclub.org. I can send you a membership form through the US postal system or via fax also. Your funds should be made payable to the "Texins Outdoor Club" in the form of a check, bank draft, or money order only.
You may return your completed form and membership dues to us at one of the monthly meetings or via US Mail at the following address:

By choosing to join our club you accept the responsibility that at all times during any Texins Outdoor Club outing, you represent TOC, and will act accordingly. We have a list of Outdoor Etiquette Guidelines that we expect everyone in the Texins Outdoor Club to abide by and observe when participating in any Outdoor club outing or event.

Thank you for considering joining our ever growing group of outdoor adventurers and explorers!

Regards,
Don Taylor
